While I was working on some stuffies this weekend, my 8 year old son asked me if he could make one also.  He has fallen in love with sewing now.  He's even told his friend's at school about it and one of the other boys has now asked if my son will make him a blue eyes white dragon.  My son being the ever-ambitious one has become determined to make one for his friend...hehe.  I thought I'd show off his work....pretty good I think for it being his first try.  Cheesy

This is great!  And you're such a cool parent to encourage such things!  Growing up, I had friends who were never allowed to do anything crafty because it was "too messy".  Since I grew up in an environment that was the TOTAL opposite, it always bothered me.  Good to see there's more parents like mine out there.

And hoping for an early death you swam so far you lost your breath, and struggling in the ebb and flow I took your hand, but you let go...
And now the ocean fills your lungs, and now you've got what you had come for, resting peaceful as you sink to drown under a sea of strangers.

WOW GOOD FOR HIM! My son is twenty five now and still sews he started sewing when he was 8. He was laughed at a lot but just kept doing it. He made himself lots of underwear and pjs. Tell your son he did a gret job and should keep it up. He may become the creater of the world's must have toys!
