If you are interested in or already love paper piecing, you can't miss http://www.sewhooked.org/ , especially if you like fandom quilting... ofenjen has loads of free patterns including her signature Harry Potter patterns, as well as animals, Star Trek, etc...

Thanks so much for all the awesome links! I'm new to quilting (I made a strip-pieced quilt for my nephew that's not quite done yet, and am taking a Quilting for Beginners class at my local Creative Sewing Center) and this is incredibly helpful, especially since it doesn't involve spending money!

I found a free motion quilting blog that looks like it is a great resource.  Ever have a hard time deciding what to quilt in your quilts?  Someone is trying to do 365 designs for free motion filler designs.  The site is organized, there are videos that are short, but show you what you need to know.  She tells you what level of quilters would do best for the designs and why, what type of design it is, where you could try to use it in the quilts.  I tell you, this is very inspirational to me being a new quilter!
