Hi, I'm new and decided wht the heck..I'll not be too shy and go ahead and post some stuff. So, first post...a mosaic I completed for my children to step on to get to the ladder for their slide. I have tons of these old irregular stones/blocks from a renovated pond. Lets hope I get it to work right.

ok...the preview worked..whew...

I love it.  What did you use, old dishes and such?  It's really cute!

I only see a link..I know what the problem might be though...
Strawberry, I used old dishes, and smashed the heck out of them on my patio...alarmed the neighbors, so I really enjoyed it. I bought them at the thrift store. I will try the photo again though....if for no other reason, than a learning experience.

Nice - like all the color - I never can find interesting dishes to smash at our thrift stores - might have to try the dollar stores.

Oh I know goatgoddess...its sometimes hard to find anything but ...well..ugly stuff that people gave away! Alot of..plain biege too..not so great for mosaics..although I have quite a collection of it, from plates that have a white or cream colored background..I WILL make something from those pieces! One day...
