Modge! You did such a great job on that bag!
I am a total Alexander Henry fabric addict!! You can also find it on equilter.com.

This swap has turned out way better than I imagined! What a talented group of revampers!!!

ginger-I love the front of that bag! with the new clasp...I really like the new clasp!

Aww, thanks girl wonder!  That was my favorite (and most time consuming!) part, too.

ok-so USPS.COM says "  Label/Receipt Number: 0305 1720 0002 3116 XXXX
Status: Delivered Your item was delivered at 4:22 pm on December 05, 2005 in BEAR, DE XXXXX."

and since I haven't heard from my partner I am going to go ahead and post pics of what I sent to her. I figure in a week she must have seen it!

I don't have pics of the before cause I was so excited to start that I just started painting away and then remembered I should have taken pics. I hope my partner likes what I did to her bag but I'm pretty nervous about that since she hasn't responded to my PM's about receiving it. what if she hates it and doesn't want to hurt my feelings? Undecided

it is rather "different" hehe.

I didn't do anything to the inside...I couldn't really think of how to change the lining...anyway...here it is. Grin

I love it! Great job! Hope your partner contacts you at some point, I have a non-appreciative/communicating partner as well- some people just have bad manners, your partner should contact you whether or not they liked it.

"But why don't you scream now?" Alice asked, holding her hands ready to put over her ears again.

"Why, I've done all the screaming already," said the Queen. "What would be the good of having it all over again?"

I love the front, girlwonder! If that were my purse, I would carry it every day in October, and off and on throughout the year.

Oh Yay!
I'm so glad to get such awesome response to the bag...I was worried.

did you do the little eyes and the trees?? that is so cute!!! i love the color!

hehe...no actually the trees and eyes are a great fabric I had left over from halloween but I LOVE it so much and it spoke to me when I was thinkging about what to do with this bag. so it's the fabric glued onto the front of the bag and I painted hte stripes to match. then I painted the handle and sides as well...it used to be white. I added the black rose trim and the charms that I made to match the fabric and voila! a finished bag.

rackycoo-I would carry it around halloween too!

modpodge-hopfully my partner is just stressed out with finals (as I am) and has been too super busy and will come around soon.  Wink
