I posted this yesterday but will try again today.  Below is Amaranth's bag before:

I took the zipper and the lining out and used the trim to make the closure with a magnetic snap. I also used leather that I cut off of another old purse.  I added appliques and buttons and resewed it with a new lining.  The results:

and lining with extra goodies:


Hope Amaranth likes it!

Well, my partner received about a week ago, I guess she's been busy, because I haven't heard from her. So I'll just go ahead and post pictures!

modge-wow and I glad to see that handle go! it really was a mess wasn't it? I wish I could see the fabric better though...it has traditional tattoo flash designs on it? I see sacred hearts in the pic i think.

ginger-I love the front of that bag! with the new clasp...I really like the new clasp!

This is only the best fabric ever!!! Easily found and purchased at reprodepot.com (in black, pink, white, and antique colors), see below link- thanks for the compliments as well!
