I made 20 of the ornaments to give away as favors at a Christmas party I'm hosting this weekend.  They took about an hour each and it was a great way to use up scrap yarn, but the whole time I'm working on them, I'm thinking, "WHY am I KNITTING my own Christmas ornaments???"

Those ornaments are beautiful!  They would look so nice all together on a tree!

Oh I just love these ornaments!!  The colors are fantastic.  I'm pretty new to knitting, so I hadn't heard of this book yet.  I may need to go buy it just to make these!  Cheesy

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Someone also suggested that they'd be cute to tie onto gifts too...it would be a lot of work for gift "tags," but still!

I knit up a pair of Vintage Beaded Gloves for my Grandma for Christmas... they were a lot of work, but SO worth it!

I only had time to snap a quick picture- I finished these at 3:45 on Christmas day!!!

The yarn is Blue Sky Alpaca's Alpaca & Silk, and I knit these on size 0 dpns.

P.S. I was one of the lucky recipients of knitchick2's knit ornaments, and let me tell you- she did a beautiful job! I was so happy to get a little bit of knitted happiness to hang on my tree Smiley
