A weezer bag, and below, an ipod case... hurray! There was a keychain which my friend confiscated, and also a magnet that wouldn't photograph (vampire maybe?)

Yes, it was something along the lines of that. It was supposed to be a weezer w at first but then..... yeah. Thanks for saying flyleaf isn't bad, i was afraid you'd say they suck or something cuz at school were allowed to bring a cd to listen to in our art class, it was my turn, and i brought flyleaf, and everyone hated it and i was so humiliated... but enough about me! Thanks superspork!

Sorry you were disappointed die_on_a_rope, i was a bit disappointed as well because you did'nt use any of my favorite bands, however i was trying to be respectful. But i do recall you sending me a tote and scarf as well...

I spent time and effort on making the items i sent you, and i'm sorry you didnt enjoy them as much as i though you would.

Excuse me, but the above statement does not seem very respectful.

It is important to let people know when there are problems with items sent/received.  It is truly more respectful to let someone know there was a problem than to hide the problem in silence.   It is also really hard to get up the courage to share the problem.

Certainly, one wants to know if items are falling apart.  Maybe there is a problem with the glue used, or it did not have time to dry thouroughly, or need more cushion in packaging???  How can you fix it, if no one tells you?

If you were both disappointed, maybe it would be helpful to  return the original items to maker.  Wink

I would have been more than happy to resolve the problem with die_on_a_rope, if she had emailed me and let me know what her concerns were.

And no, i don't feel that i should tell someone who worked their butt off to make me something, that i did not like what they made. So I would be respectful to their feelings and not say anything....

and that post was WAY more respectful than what i wanted to say, which is why i also personally PM'd her. This is not the first time she has had a negative attitude towards me, and i think she has done all this out of spite from another swap were she did not like the partner i gave her.

as far as the bracelet goes, i have sold many of those and never had a complaint, i double check all the ones i make before i send them out. So i had no idea it would fall apart, maybe in the packaging, it is glue....not magic....but, again, i would have been more than happy to work it out with her.....maybe re-sent new items altogether?!
