Thank you!  this is just in time for Christmas!  I can think of two people for sure that will love to receive this as a gift from me, rather then the usual scarf  Cheesy   Lisa

I have the bright pink homespun and I am definitely making myself one of these. I tend to shy away from crocheting garments because I hate trying to get things to fit right. it looks like we have the same body type and it looks great on you, so I'll give it a go!

Thanks, y'all!  I'd love to see your finished capelets!

By the way, when I washed mine it shrank a tiny bit - it still fits, but I think I'm going to add a row to the sleeves and a row or two to the bottom before I wash it again.

It's gorgeous, and thankyou for the pattern.  I htink I may make this as a Post christmas treat to myself for all the Christmas crafting Grin

That's the great thing about making it yourself, eh.  I made a hat that I later realised was too short, decided to give it as a gift to go with a scarf I'd made, and so I added some rows in the colours of the scarf to make a set.

I made one of these from Homespun in Tudor for my cousin for Christmas, and she loved it. But stupid me forgot to take a picture of it to post here. Doh! Anyway, thanks for posting the pattern Wink.
