Made of Lion Brand Homespun, double crocheted with a size P hook, and fastened with a brooch from Target's Dollar Spot.  A $98 Anthropologie capelet for under $10!  And my first crocheted garment!

I like the capelet, and it looks good on you too. I bet it feels warm and soft, homespun yarn feels very comfortable against the skin (I am not too fond of itchy yarn).

Ditto on the pattern! It looks so good on you. I could definitely use a warm capelet like that when I go out to the bars.

Sometimes it's knit and sometimes it's crochet.

Looks good! I love it when I see crocheted versions of knitted garments. So many pattern possibilities. Hope you can post the pattern.

You can add me to the list of those who would love the pattern - I promised a friend of mine that I would make her something to wear in the clubs - she likes to show off her boobs and I think that this would do the trick!  I love the homespun too.  I couldn't decide what yarn I would use for her but I think that would be perfect!  I have some great black homespun that would be great!

I need to go check out the dollar spot at Target.  It has been awhile since I was there last!

i think that's the best crocheted caplet I've seen yet!  i love it, and it looks great on you.  I've been looking for something like this but couldn't figure it out.
