I am a huge fan of Copycat recipes...and this one I did all my own. I copied them from a great new appetizer at my local Applebees:
 You need:
Kettle Style Potato chips (the thick dark ones)
Shredded Chedder/Monterey Jack Cheese (Kraft makes a yummy mix)
Bacon Ranch Dressing (Hidden Valley Ranch)
Salt (the "big flake" salt works very nicely)

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Layer the chips on a cookie sheet and cover with cheese. Sprinke some salt on and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. You really have to keep an eye on them, I have a lousy oven, and ten minutes may be too long or too short for real ovens. But, bake until some of the chips get dark and the cheese melts.
Serve with the bacon ranch as a dip...and voala...a very yummy snack!

=)    We shared them & each had a side salad & it was a tasty meal!
Now I can make them at home too!
