knit like the wind!

I got married on October 28th.  Outdoors.  In Canada.  And I and all my bridesmaids were in strapless dresses.  Cruel, aren't I?  So, I knitted up an I do for each of them in Patons Classic Wool Pure Merino.  My mom made mine in Rowan Kidsilk Haze (with little pearl beads at the cuff - so pretty!).  It really turned out well.  Here's a picture of us all together:

(edited to make picture bigger- yay for photobucket!)

Ohwow.  That's just stunning.  I've always wanted a winter wedding -- I'm also from Canada -- but you may have just convinced me on the autumn thing.  Especially if it was in Ontario, or, well, somewhere not Manitoba (we go from green to *plop!* on the ground) with all the leaves!  Your pictures must be breathtaking.

You wouldn't happen to have a larger picture of yourself and your ladies would you?  I can barely make you all out...

(Now, be honest.  Was the knitting to keep them warm, or to keep yourself sane?  hee!)

Congratulations - I second the request for a larger pic. You know posting photos of knitting where we can barely make out the knit items let alone the individual stitches is just cruel Tongue

Nice job on theirs.  You look stunning.

Every day may not be a good day to die, but every day is a good day to eat pancakes.

Here's more of a closeup on 2 of my girls

Here are some where you can see more of mine

It was so cold!  Like 5C/43F and the photographer had Jeff and I out there for 2 hours worth of photos!  (Everyone else could go in for parts)  But it was a really great time.
