Crafters Smackdown

I'm in Anchorage and I've been lurking at Craftster (although I have trouble saying the actual word) for a while.  It occurs to me that some of you here in Anchorage might be interested in a Fur Rondy event that my preschool/afterschool program is sponsoring.  It's called Crafters Smackdown and it's February 26th.  There is a fee to join for each team (of up to 4 people).  It's loosely based on Craft Corner Death Match. 
It's a fundraiser for the nonprofit org that is hosting it, and we're a great org.

Flea, so sorry!  Maybe you can have a Fairbanks to Anchorage craft trip?  Ask a local supply shop to sponsor you!

Skerri13, let me know if you have any questions.  I have gotten really good responses from people IRL about this, ranging from "I am all over that" to complete looks of confusion which dissolve into huge grins.  Very excited!

Clearly, I'm a fellwo Fairbanksan. I've tried started a crafting group up here, but haven't been able to keep it going. Let me know if you want to get together some time.
