hi, this is my first project. my ma got me to join this site, i got inspired today after looking at soooo many awesome clothes you people have made!!! you guys are so talented!!! so here goes.... i took an old green striped summer dress and cut it up to be a skirt by adding a lacey hem and a black ribbon bow and for the shirt - it was a blue/black cut up shirt, along with a tan/black skirt and of course more of the green striped summer dress with another black ribbon sewed on the side and 2 green ribbons on front. the shirt fit my 8 year old. she insisted on wearing the skirt as well - although the skirt IS in fact for me. thanks for looking:
