i love the movie _naked lunch_ and i was kicking around the idea of making a silkscreen for a while--i don't know why it took me so long!  i made it with my print gocco...this is the first print i made from the screen and it's a little janky, but i still think it's cute as a bug!

That's awesome! You did a great job on it and the colour/design choices are fabulous.

cute! i was just thiking last night how i wanted to try my gocco out on a tshirt. so far i've printed on felt but then it needs to be ironed for 2 minutes to set the ink..hence i melted a bit of felt. then got frustrated and put it away to heat set another day..hehe

i think doing a t-shirt will be much less hassle. great job

i've been having trouble finding the fabric screens in stores here, as i complained about earlier elsewhere...this is just a paper screen that i tore the plastic over sheet off of and it seems to work fine, but it didn't hold up as well to washing the ink off as the fabric screens--or maybe i was just not as careful as i should have been.  it's a little warpy on the edges now, but the mesh, itself, seems to be fine.  i think i'm going to make a bag with the screen today.

here's the bag, though i messed it up a couple different ways.  i think i'll make another when i get around to buying some solid-colored fabric because i do like the basic idea of the bag and i love my little screen.

it's not too bad, just a little messy.
what's the deal with the stamp set, SarahFroggy?  i never bought that part because i never understood what it was meant to do--how it was different from the regular screen printing with the gocco...

the stamp kit for cloth. is just an attachment that you snap the ink filled screen that looks like a handle so you can just stamp it instead of trying to cram a shirt or whatever into the gocco itself. also comes with fabric inks. but the sucky part is only red, blue, yellow, black., no white!!! i'd rather have white than black so i could make lighter colours. i wish i would have known when i made my order i would have got an extra.

the pic is at the bottom of this http://www.dickblick.com/zz449/38/products.asp?param=0&ig_id=1723
