Oooooh.  I haven't paid attention to this thread in a while, apparently.  I'm really disappointed that we won't be seeing more of the "wicker football purse."  That truly would have been a spectator sport.  Please, Stifflersmom, promise me it'll make another appearance on Craftster!

I sent to Bigmouth yesterday.  This lovely little raffia number is headed her way!

That squished up area in the middle is a sort of built in raffia bow.  CHALLENGE!

(Note the lovely red fingernail all decorated for Christmas!)

NOOOOOO!  Not a built-in raffia bow!  I might have to consult David Copperfield on this one.   Grin

Bigmouth, I suggest you do your best to preserve that bow. It would look lovely in gingerquilt's hair, and make quite the ensemble with the purse!

Here's hoping you don't have to resort to consulting David. He creeps me out.

Viva La Wicker Football! I love that purse, and I may have to spiff it up on my own.
I had an instant inspiration when I saw the black raffia number ginga sent to you, I can't wait to see what magic you weave over that baby!

i've got my before bag, and i'm gonna mail it tommorrow when i mail my million other packages (i'm scared to go to the post office, i have so many... i'm gonna go to a post office that takes visa!).

it's very plain and boring, but with a neat body, i'm excited to see what my partner does with it!

she wants it to be a surprise, so i'm not gonna post it here until she receives it, and i think she's gonna wait and do the same for hers. i'm so excited to get started!

Can you believe this?  gingerquilts sent to me yesterday, and I received it today.  We're in the same state, and along the same freeway--but it's the middle of December!  Sheesh!

Anyway, you should hear the sound that thing makes when I squish it with my fingers.  Sounds unsettlingly like the grocery bags she used as packing material.

That bow is quite, um, something.  It's strangely flat.  And David creeps me out, too, rackycoo.  I think I may have to consult a higher power, like MacGyver.

Oh, and I still haven't figured out whether it's black or navy.  The lining is black, but I'm still not convinced.

Tomorrow is the first deadline?!!
Uh-oh... I totally had it written down as the 19th and had planned to send a bunch of swap stuff out then, cause it's so hard for me to get to the PO! Plus none of the ones in my area are open Sat.  Undecided
So sorry guys!!!!

I will try to get a picture up ASAP and I'll send it priority to make up for the delay.
