I loved the thrift store picture revamp

and was thinking that if I received a great pic like those I wouldn't want to just hang it in my house, I would want to really show it off and carry it around. Thus, the thrift store purse revamp swap was born. This is round II.

There are some minor changes from round I, please read this enormously long post carefully. (sorry about the length, I'm a bit chatty today)


How it will work:
You buy a purse, tote-bag, clutch, etc. at a thrift store.
You mail it off to your swap partner.
Your swap partner does the same thing and mails you a bag.
You both revamp, re-do, glamorize, make-over and art-ify each others bags and return them.

There are no restrictions on the type of bag you choose, anything mobile you can carry your wallet in, except *please* no suitcase size bags due to shipping costs.

Signups 11/18 – 12/11 (partners to be posted on 12/12)

Before signing up be aware of the following:

1.   You will ship twice for this swap
2.   You must get a DC# each time you ship, really, seriously you’ve gotta spend the 55 cents.
3.   Your “before” bag must be mailed to your partner by 12/19 so they have ample time to work on the bag before returning it to you.
4. The revamped bags must be returned to your partner on or before Jan 14th
Please PM the DC#’s to me when you ship your original bag and when you ship out the revamped bag.
