Bobolink, your partner is fyberduck.

If you need to refer to the partner list or shipment list, they are on the first post of this thread.

Good luck with that bag!

Don't worry, I knew I could look it up- I guess I was just being lazy and wanted to post a question in my post and then couldn't quite remember her name off hand.
I may have to PM some of you guys for tecnical advice depending on what I decide to do I have a feeling I'm going to need to leave my comfort zone to do a good job.

i have a very brave partner......i tried to get some specifics from her....likes/dislikes......but she said she was up for ANYTHING!!  hehe.  sooooo.......i just completely tore apart the little brown corduroy number....and it's now having a nice spa treatment in the washing machine....with some bleach.  i'm thinking that i might hit the thrift store next to find something to reconstruct into a new lining for it.  depending on how the bleach treatment agrees with the corduroy, i might dye it a new color....i have an assortment of RIT dyes that have been staring me down for months now.  extreme makeover - the purse chronicles!  hehehehe.

dear chrissy.eew's purse (aka tanerella):

please stop being so stubborn. this hurts me more than it hurts you, trust me.
you will be so much prettier if you would just cooperate. don't you want to go out on the town?!

p.s. please get along with the E600.

your makeover stylist,
miranda

 Grin

isn't tanerella a sweet name?! hahahahaha
what in the HELL are you doing to her?  she was always so nice to me... Grin
your bag has a new name by the way...skullerina.  Figure that one out.  And umm...about that side snap closure...well the good news is that i dont think there will be a scar.

I recommend scissors.  Indiscriminate chopping worked for me.   Cheesy

I don't think Norsgoebel's purse was the naming type; it was a very serious purse.

Ok.. I'm totally stumped on my partners name too... but do you like birds??

Sorta, but I came up with that name cuz my Uni's mascot is Donald Duck.  I'm indifferent to almost all birds but water-fowl, mostly because my parents are freakishly into bird-watching.

Don't worry, I knew I could look it up- I guess I was just being lazy and wanted to post a question in my post and then couldn't quite remember her name off hand.

Do what makes you feel happy!  This is supposed to be fun.  So long as you get rid of the truly horrendous pleather on the thing, I'll be happy (well, I'd like it to be able to carry yarn too... but that's a given)  Heck, if you really want to stay in your comfort zone, I totally wouldn't say "no" to a new *felted* bag (wink, wink), I know you're into knitting  Grin

But, seriously, anything's good -  be free!
