My dad is active in his Harley group, so he is always a staff member at the regional rallies.

He gave me his shirt this year (after missing my birthday dinner to be there) and told me i could do what i wanted to it, as long as the logos stayed in tact. It was a 3x (he's big guy.) and now it's this:

*EDIT*
The brief paint tutorial

shirt

Measure yourself and take off the sleeves.

Hem the bottom and take in the sides according to the measurements

Attach the new sleeves. Make sure you measure the armholes to make sure they will fit together after the gatherring.

I had a difficult time with the collar, but i essentially just cut it down the middle and resewed it, which i don't necessarily recommend, but it worked.

wow I'm surprised that worked. Usually you have to add darts to woven fabric, just taking it in on the sides is not enough, or gets bunchy. But it looks good!
