I took this pair of athletic snap-off pants I had made them into a 2-piece dress, a tube top and skirt.   Just so you know I added no other materials, just the pants.  Here's the link. 
You should be able to find ur way to the pic.  Hope everyone likes it. Smiley

It wasn't that hard to do. 

First, I cut off the legs where I wanted the skirt to be.  Then hemed the crotch part on both front and back, and hemed the edges.

I looked at the legs I cut off, wondering what I could do w/ them.  I took them unsnaped them, then turned them around and snaped them together, so it was a tube.  And voila a tube top, just some hemming around the edge and thats it. 

It took me about two days to make, b/w two small kids and hand sewing it together.

I don't think it looks that bad.  The pants itself was stretched out at the waistband (because I wore them while I was pregnant) so I adjusted them and now they just sit on my hips.  I was thinking about adding a small belt or something, if it gets to be too big.  but otherwise I really like it.  Smiley
