The package of paper I sent to stich arrived and she asked me to post a pic.

The record album was what I stuffed with paper because most of my stuff was big square stuff.  Cheesy

I received my envelope of fantatic goodies from her today (THANKS!!!!), but pics will have to wait until the camera recharges. It's some amazing stuff! Stay tuned............

oooooooooo-such beautious bounty you have there!

I received from tofuttibreak! and the package is absolutely amazing! there are all of these pages out of a vintage mental health text book...it's crazy! (no pun intended-really!) there are also playing cards and vintage cards...all kinds of stuff...I made out big time! I'll post picks of what I got from both partners as soon as I can. I'm having camera troubles...so it may be a few days. you guys are great!

tofutti-my husband did a really great collage the other day. He was working through some issues he had about a friend of his who killed himself several years ago. He used a lot of those pages from the Mental Health book...they were so fitting-it was very thereputic for him. He also used hte church postcards in it as well. He's never really done art/collage before (he's a musician). anyway, your paper has already been given a really wonderful purpose!

I think that they were getting ready to throw all of those books in the dumpster at the Goodwill.
I grabbed that one as they were pulling them off of the shelves into a big bin. I hate to see things
just thrown away like that. I'm so glad that he had a good use for it!

I received my awesome package from girlwonder, and there were *many* things to drool over, most especially the small envelope of 23K gold leaf!  I feel like Midas!  And I love the vintage paper dolls, all of the Sanrio stuff, and ribbony swatches.  I will get to work right away on some new ATCs for 2 upcoming swaps.  Thanks a mil, girlwonder!

Yay! I'm so glad you guys liked what I sent. Your packages were very similar actually. and I'm excited to see what you do with the gold leaf.

BOTH of your packages were equally awesome by the way...one of these days I'll actually get my camera to take a good picture of what you sent...I'm having issues with it these days... Roll Eyes

Don't worry about not posting a photo...as you may have noticed, I haven't posted one either!  I don't have a digital camera, so I'm a little behind in my technical abilities.

Thanks again, swappers!

I have used up all the lovely paper stichinsister sent me already, and would love to try this swap again to diversify my paper stash.

I recently picked up a pictorial cookbook of Sushi and a welding textbook written in what I think is Chinese.
Come on, I know you're tempted......Let's do this again!

Happy New Year!
