I've really just started to explore the wonderful world of needle felting and I'm a bit frustrated.  I'm following the directions that came with the kit I got as well as trying to remember all of the various tips I've seen online, but I don't seem to be getting a very smooth finish, particularly on my edges.  Is this something that will just come with time and practice or is there some secret needle felting tip that I've not heard yet?  Any help will be MUCH appreciated!

Hi  titaniumrose,  First have you had a chance to checkout the Needle felt basics tute here? http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51271.0  The basic tute info might be useful;  then jump to page 3.  Ember77 had some questions on finish and that reply may be helpful to you as well.

Not sure if info there is similar to info in your kit.  So please check that first and if more info needed, don't hesitate to ask here or there.

Lastly, if you could/would show us a photo of the edge that concerns you, that might help me or someone else give more specific assistance.

After early tomorrow am, I will be off line for about a week.  So others with NF experience, please do jump in. Plus there are many ways to approach it that will work and I can only share the one's I know/use.

Thanks.

Apparently I didn't read far enough.   Smiley  Thanks!  I went and copied that thread and all of the pertinent questions into a word doc so I can print it and go over it at home with my goodies.  I'll try to take some pics next time I get a chance to break out my supplies and hopefully I'll have something good to show.

Thanks again for the guidance!
