k...all you need is...
spoonful of vasoline
a flavor

put the vasoline in a glass bowl and stick in the microwave for 20 seconds (or until liquid) then add your flavor-for example if you want cinnamon, sprinkle cinnamon in the bowl with the liquid vasoline) and stir it around then pour it in a little balm container (i used old container for tiny beads-about as big around as a half dollar) and wait for it to dry...don't worry...it doesn't always come out perfect on your first try....
suggestions of things to use
lemon juice
bubble gum....(melt in the good ole microwave!)

and goodness gracious i can't remember what else....

i cut a little piece of lipstick and put it in the vaseline before putting  it in the micro.
You can use up those ugly, crappy colors that don't look good on your face, cause they really mellow out when they are melted down in the gloss.

i remeber making homemade lipgloss a few years ago xept i used vaseline and crushed up rasberries. I had to keep it in the fridge cus otherwise it would have gone bad..but it tasted really good. Now i want to make some more..but i think i want it to be minty. Grin

i made lip balm out of heated up oil and bees wax.  it was in a craft book i got for christmas.  i made mine with 1/4 cup of oil, a teaspoon or so of bees wax, a vitamin E capsule, lipstick, and yummy smelling essential oils.  i haven't tried cinnoman lip gloss, but i have made some cinnoman soap and it turned out great!

When i made lip balm wif my friends, i only had baby vaseline, so it smelt like baby powder. We were hoping to find some strawberry milkshake mix, but there was none so we had to use drinking chocolste!

NOT A GOOD MIX!!! dont try it

I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross roads and not have their motives questioned.
