I wonder what the copyright status is on that?  I would love the pattern!

Oooh....I was eyeballing a somewhat similar pattern but with cables in the latest Vogue Knitting.  Very nice!

linda63pt- The pattern was ok with the exception of the collar.  It was very odd- and mine did not come out like the picture, so I did something wrong.  Also, sewing the collar in was challenging.  I kind of had the feeling that this pattern was written by copying a sewing pattern.  I had to ease in the back neck to fit the collar, the bottom edges had a 1 1/2 hem on bottom, and the front pieces had a 2 1/2 turned under facings.  Sure makes me think of sewing!

beatnik_chik-  I don't know when copywrites expire.  I have seen websites with older patterns posted and I have even seen someone selling photocopies of older patterns on ebay.

dearsunexplode-  This is knit in reverse stockinette stitch,  the purl side is the right side.  The yarn makes this stitch look even better, I think.

I read that the copyright is 25 years unless it is renewed.  I'm not 100% sure about it though.  How did you get the pattern from the 60's?
