I think maybe its cos we're swap newbies. You know we want to make a good impression so we get anxious and want to make sure its all perfect and done on time?

Or may be we are our own brand of weirdness!  Wink  But thats okay, I celebrate weirdness, thats why I just took part in the Geek Pride Swap (how could I resist a swap with my name in it?)

Anyway better early than late (unless its Jubal)  Grin

No, I think Early is cool, strange, slightly evil but stil a cool villian.

"Does that seem right to you?"

Oooh! I want that on a t-shirt!

He he--

I was a victim of the server meltdown, but I posted before to say that I've been plotting furiously on my projects because I tend to produce, um, rather involved craft projects (people's exhibit A:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=65392.0 ).  I have to wait until the beginning of January to actually start building my projects, but I'm planning happily at the moment.

I think that Whedonverse in general promotes craziness.  As they say on Buffy, "Love makes you do the wacky."

Pieces,

Joanne

Eee - I know it's utterly off topic, but also that you girls would appreciate the world of sque and joy that I'm in at the mo.

My best friend has just successfully bought the Kaylee Dress fabric http://www.fireflycostumes.com/misc/kaylee-dress-fabric/images/fabric1_3.jpg that's on Ebay at the moment, and is going to make two corsets with it - one ofr me, and one for her to sell.

YAY!

I'm helping her out with the material cost (Most Expensive Fabric. Ever.) and so there may be some teeny tiny bits left for other stuff!

This is what happens when I get bored...

I do crazy stuff. As they said on Buffy (just last night) "Boredom makes you do the wacky..." Oh no wait. That was love.
Oh well. Boredom makes me do the wacky.

I weren't too happy with Inara and Book the shepherd, but the others were mighty pretty. You can't see Wash's eyes cos I made them green 'stead of black.

Jayne's wearing his hat and Kaylee and Wash are holding coke-bottle candies...
River is sleeping.

Oh, and now you can see how my friend could pull Mal's suspenders off with her teeth... *kinky wink*  Cheesy

*sigh* It just ain't normal... one of these days the men in the white coats're gonna come an' cart me away, I just know it. Tongue

OH.MY.GOODNESS. Those are cunning, and shiny, and any other Firefly-verse adjectives I can't think of right now. And you put Jayne's hat on him!

Can I post a link to this on the Firefly knitters LJ?

I adore this, its sooo awesome. I would be really proud if I were you, I love shepaard book, i think he might be one of my faves next to the Jayne cookie which I think might be the best one.

I think I need to do something like this...

I just finished watching all the episodes of firefly on dvd over the last 5 days... I can't believe I hadn't seen the show until now. And I can't believe I missed this swap!

Sigh. I think a Jayne hat may be in order. My own private knitalong.

Serenity comes out on dvd tomorrow! I am now officially addicted to the show.

And is it wrong how yummy Sean Maher looks in the DVD special features with his hair all spiky? I don't mean to objectify him. But wow.

Heck, I watched an episode of Ghost Whisperer just because he was on it.
