hey i've been looking everywhere and i can't seem to find cute recipe cards...i've tried book stores, craft stores, target, halmark, and even a bed bath and beyond...i found a site online that had some cute ones but the stire seemed a little shady and i'm a little hesitant to give them my credit info...

any ideas on where i could fimd some? I'm not looking to make them as the project of organizing my recipies will be a big enough chore:)

thanks bunches for any help you can give me! Cheesy

My hubby is a chef, so I ran into the same problem.  I found at stationary stores and at office supply stores, printable blank invitations were my answer.  There are so many neat designs to choose from and are large enough to hold a lot of ingredients and steps.  Plus I can coordinate themes with my food items.  Hope this helps!

You can print your own cute designs if you get some Avery-like inkjet postcards; just print, tear apart and put your project together. If you'd like to protect them, just cover with clear packing tape, or my preferred medium, a roll of cold laminating sheets (which is just tape, but a heck of a lot bigger).

Here are some really cool retro ones another Craftster found:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=29801.0

I used these last year for Christmas presents.  I found a bunch of cool old recipe tins off ebay (average price $5.00) and wrote down all of my family's "tried and true" recipes on the retro cards, lamenated them and ta-da!  They were a HUGE hit!

Good luck!
