Is it possible to add glitter to polyurethane? I want to apply it over some wood that I stained (for color).

Would that neat glitter-in-clear-acrylic-paint work better? I'm terribly afraid of the polyurethane yellowing... These items are going to be used for display a *lot*.

what kind of glitter are you talking about? the traditional teensylittlesparklysquares kind of glitter? or something more shimmery like mica powder?
