Hi all,
My sister and I are trying to throw our boyfriends a Godzilla themed birthday party on Saturday (A little last minute with the planning, I know).  I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for quick and cheap decorations that might go with this theme.  So far we are thinking a Pin the Tail on Godzilla game....and really that's about it.  Any idea are welcome....Thanks!

old or new godzilla? i like the old, poorly dubbed japanese godzilla. godzilla's monster archnemises could also be used- cheap plastic figurines could be used as decorations.

I'm thinking they would like the old godzilla.  I believe they hate the American version.

how bout japanese themed decor? seeing as it is godzilla's original home. you could serve pocky and sushi- you could probably find some japanese products at your local supermarket.  painted cardboard cutouts are cheap decorations, and you could play some old godzilla movies... or some other b&w monster movies. or, even better- mystery science theater!!

Okay - this is totally inspired by a Disney movie, but here's my thought.  If you could get a bunch of cardboard boxes, you could stack them up to make skyscrapers (miniture tokyo) - then everyone could run through them knocking them down being godzilla.  It sounds totally childish, but its the kind of thing I know my guy friends would be into, destruction = good.
