Have got a shoe box full of these aurora cards. . .so I'm always playing around with them. . .saw a book like this two years ago at a rubber stamp store which is where the idea cam from. . .

The backs have the same aurora on the back as I cut the front off another card for the backs. The stick used in binding is a chopstick painted with nail polish.  Pictures on the fronts are from art books and the book with a nude has a togle clasp to keep it shut when not in use.  All in all they are quite easy to make. . .

I like the chopsticks in the binding-makes them even more unique!

I'm so glad that you shared this! I love the journal you made me! The other day I was using it at work and three people stopped me and asked me where I got it.

Do you ever plan on selling them? If so please let me know so that I can tell them where to go =)

And thank you again for the supplies to make one. I haven't done so yet but hope to after the crazy holidays!

Well it depends on how much you spend on the materials, and then of course for your time. Don't sell them for less than 5 though! They are too gorgeous! I'd spend $10 on one. So maybe around there? I'm terrible at pricing things lol

It's lovely! Are the wings of paper or something else? They look like they're irridescent ^_^ Pretty!

To make the wing I take a page out of a book in a foreign language and cut the paper to size then after I glue the wings down I use 1-2 layers of nail polish to make them shiney  Cheesy
