It is our friend's birthday tomorrow and he loves meat!
We made him a meathead. We got the idea from this guy: http://cascade.mit.edu/halloween/meathead.html.

We used cream cheese to hold on the first layer of salami (1/4 lb) and then we stuck a second layer of roast beef on top (1/2 lb). Then we used marshmallows with olives stuck in them for eyes.

how much do you love him? we are going to eat him tomorrow with cheese and crackers.

here he is chillin out in the fridge:

we also made rosewater cupcakes for those not inclined to cannibalism.

peeling back the skin exposes the salami underlayer

meathead in progress

Matt and the meathead don't get along

I love yours!  Here's the one I did for a Halloween party...

Next time I definitely want to give it eyelids so it doesn't look quite so...happy.

While those are some of the most disturbing things I have ever seen, I'm going to have to bookmark this one in my "Halloween Party ideas" folder!

HOLY SCHNIKES that is AWESOME!  it makes me wish my horror movie loving buddies weren't vegetarian.  That is just about the coolest thing I've ever seen.  I wish I had seen this idea before my wedding reception so I could have made one (my wedding was a halloween one)  AWESOME, I will be showing my buddies this link anyways.  Great job!

I MADE SOME TOO!! =0)

One is ham, the other is turkey. I stuck the meat on with ketchup and mayonaisse, the directions I read said to use jell-o (MMMM jello and cold cuts!!)
Here they are in a lovely buffet style
