Made with two balls of Berroco Quest, in a nifty stitch I found in the Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Needlework (or the Bible, as I like to call it)  Smiley  It's for my aunt for Christmas, I really hope she likes it.

guisi - it's very easy, you basically just single crochet around a piece of cardstock.  I started it last night.

the Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Needlework (or the Bible, as I like to call it)  Smiley

I LOVE that book...it's pretty much my bible too...I only had to reach about 2 feet to grab it and look up that stitch....gotta make copycat scarf for my mother-in law...She will love it....wooooo-hoooooo off to buy some yarn! Thanks for making me look...

BTW it is absolutely gorgeous....a lovely yarn really can make an inventive stitch go together into a lovely item. Great work!

ME TOO! I checked it out of the school library and then never gave it back. The librarian said I could just keep it, I was the only one in like, 10 years to check it out.

I love the sheen that that yarn has. Very chic!

I wish I could crochet.
Is it hard, do you think, to teach yourself?
