Man, I've just been on a roll, lately...

This is another one of the small book boxes.

Again...thank you, thank you, thank you!

My husband keeps mentioning to me about selling them, but I have a huge block when it comes to that...part of me doesn't want to let go of them and part of me doesn't know if I could handle the perceived rejection I would have if they didn't sell...does that make sense?

Then there is also the fact that I have no earthly clue what to charge for them if I did try...

I know how that goes.  I'm a stay at home mom and everytime I make anything my husband immediately gets grandiose ideas of me making eight million of the same thing and selling them on ebay.  I like your book, did you make the book part from scratch?  it looks really neat.  I like the way you put everything together.

What if people wanted a custom order? Smiley Not saying that I will, because I'm really poor right now, but for future reference hehe Grin

The book is a little paper mache thing I got at Michael's. I've been hording them because I think they are season for Christmas (they call them ornaments)...

And I'm not opposed to custom orders, should the opportunity arise!

The bumpiness is made with something called "Snow-Tex" that is supposed to give things the texture of snow...I've been wanting to work with more texture so I tried it. It feels like paint with sand in it...after it was dry I didn't like the way it looked or felt, so I sanded it down and it got really soft, almost suede-like, even though it looks really rough...

The next one I'm working on I'm using "Molding Paste" made by Liquidtex...I think it will be a cool effect.

Again, thank you for the compliments!

Here's a link to the snow...its weird stuff...
