Hello,
I don't know if this is the right place to post this thread, or if it's already been discussed somewhere on here (if so, please lemme know of the link!)

I am new at sewing, and I am generally looking for heavy canvas (maybe duck cloth?), basically something sturdy enough to make tote bags from.  but, I live in the Vancouver Canada area, and i was wondering if anyone knows of any fabric shops that offer more of an interesting selection than fabricland, fabricana, etc.  I've been to a few of those locations and I find that it's just the same stuff over and over again.

thanks!

Try Dressew (337 Hastings St West).  I've only been around there twice and haven't checked out their duck cloth but the store has loads of fabric compared to Fabricland, so it's worth a shot.  It's a short walk from Stadium skytrain station Smiley
