I just bought LOADS more fibre on the weekend!  Cheesy
And I decided to give needlefelting seriously a go. So far it is turning out quite well for a first try. I only got his face done so far and it is taking me a long time cause I am dying the wool myself.
As soon as he is finished I will post pictures.

I love the feeling of bringing home bags of new fibre.
Someone else always has to drive the car just so I can play with it all the way home!

And I decided to give needlefelting seriously a go. So far it is turning out quite well for a first try. I only got his face done so far and it is taking me a long time cause I am dying the wool myself.

So you've decided to give needle felting a go? Great!  Smiley
If you feel inclined to show-off how you're making your new needle-felting projects, feel free to post pics of 'felting in action' in the discussion section. You're taunting me with the clue 'his face' and I'm wondering what you could be making!
Hmm, just realised we haven't really discussed dying on this board much.
Wonder who else here hand dyes their wool.

I am fibre crazy at the moment. Fibre has always been the main thing for me. But in the past few months I spent every free minute I had on felting, dyeing or spinning,  leaving no time for embroidery, glassbeadmaking or sewing.
I finished his head last night. Its kind off freaky when you poke a bit of fluff with a needle and suddenly it stares back at you. I will introduce him when he is finished.

Thanks!  Smiley
I might take some pictures of some scarfes I have done recentley and post them. Although they are supposed to be part of a set. The matching other items are all sketched out, but I have no idea when I will get round to felting them.
