Hello everyone...I just moved to Berlin from Canada, and was not able to take my sewing machine with me for obvious reasons.  Is there a good place I could get a good-quality sewing machine here for a reasonable price?  I don't want to spend too much, because I already have to buy SO much stuff, but I don't want a poor quality one either...any tips?

I got mine at Treptower Park Flohmarkt. But in general, fleamarkets are iffy. Your best bet, Naehmaschinen Center. It's at U-Leopoldstr. in Wedding. They sell both new and used machines. If you buy a used machine, they've been fixed up (there's an in-house repair center) and come with a warranty. As far as I know you can also pay for machines in installments. Good luck!
