sorry this is old news by now (page 10) but i have just gotten around to getting back online.
i'm glad you like the purse, lasandri. i had so much fun making it. although i think the broccoli looks better in the picture than it does in real life. i traced it from an actual picture (thank you google) using five different shades of green colored pencil, plus black. p.s. did you notice the fork holes in the foil?
and craftyzary, thank you for the compliment. that means a lot.

this is why i love craftster. rather than the funny looks and the "you're making a purse that looks like WHAT?", i get encouragement and compliments [/mushy]

i love to see all the stuff that everyone's making!

You guys are making me blush to the max.
It was really fun knitting/embellishing the flowers because they're so little and you can make one or two during one tv sitting.

That potato purse is freaking sweet and the knitting needle rolling case is totally rad!

I'm going to be thinking about that potato purse all day.  I might even have to make a potato for lunch.

During the big Craftster blackout, I received from seaofstars.  I got my zipper pouch (brown with white polka dots and retro daisies), AND a smaller felt snap pouch (with a happy tooth!).  They're great.  I'm really disappointed that I can't post photos yet, because they won't upload to Craftster.  I'll post them the moment I find out that the picture hosting is back up.

...aaaand I just checked yesterday's mail (I was gone all day).  I received an envelope full of beads from hertrigger.  Thank you!!  Maybe you'll receive them back again sometime, in some other form!   Wink

(By the way, I recognized the "from the mind of vanessa" stationery as something she received & posted from another swap.  So to whoever made that stationery:  She's putting it to use!   Smiley)
