Hey. I know this thread is old but I figured it was easier than starting a new one. I just joined Craftster yesterday. I am from Belmont-about 45 minutes from Tupelo and Corinth both. If anyone from the area is still active, I would love to hear from y'all.

Hi!  I'm still sort of active.  I don't sign into Craftster as regularly as I used to since I became a member of Ravelry but I still sign in rather regularly.  I think I've been to Belmont. I get Belmont and Tremont confused.  It's the "monts"

Hey, I'm in Starkville.  I'm just learning to knit and crochet. :] I got the bug when my Mom came home with a kit for each from walmart that she got for like $1. lol I made a fuzzy scarf crocheting, and now I'm working on hand warmers.....they arn't coming along very well, I keep putting them off. Cheesy I'm hoping to go up to Hobby Lobby soon, but I'd hate to know how much stuff they are going to have that I want!!

This is an old thread but I am thinking that the interest is still there for some crafty meetup.

Any one still interested in getting together to knit/crochet/ect ect this winter? All I want to do is knit since it is so cold!

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Tremont and Belmont are only about 15-20 minutes apart actually Smiley

I would love to join a meetup somewhere if anyone else is interested.

I am interested.  I am over in Oxford, but Tupelo isn't too far.  Where is a good place to meet?  Any one have any ideas?  I don't know the area very well, so I am at a loss.

I might be the only one that is completely familiar with the Tupelo area, there is a booksamillion in tupelo that has a coffeeshop in it where I have seen people meeting up to study and such and there is also a starbucks in Tupelo.  Those are two options to consider.

I like the BAM. It is really nice. Where is the starbucks located in Tupelo. Is it over on Main down from the walmart?
