Hi.  I just registered today.

Does anyone know where I can find a good clutch bag pattern?  I went to Joann's I saw one for an evening bag but it wasn't what I'm looking for.   Sad

i've never made a clutch but there's a site called ghees that might have what you want:

Hi Everyone,

I am so lost when it comes to sewing something.  My grandmother is 500 miles away and I have no one to help me.  I made a goal to do a craft at least once a week.  I would like to learn how to make something from this section.  I have always wanted to make a bag of my own.  The thing is, I have looked and looked at the instructions for most bags and I'm pretty much confused Huh.  Please share with me an easy bag that I can make, following instructions from this site.  I would like to print it out and go to town with it.

I found this tutorial (A gift for a college bound friend..[with photo tut.. extremely img heavy]) that seems pretty easy.

What part of the tutorials that you read confused you?

I have used it about 10 times and I always have success, and i think it's good for a beginner (which I am).

I have a book with a shoe bag pattern with two compartments--there is a pocket on the outside of the bag.  The name of the book is called Made for Travel by Mary Mulari.  If I can find a picture, I'll post a link.

There is also this eyeglass case that would make a good shoe bag, if enlarged to the correct proportions.

My sister is obsessed with tea! She drinks it aaalllllllll day long.  So I thought I would make her a tea wallet, since I see them here all the time.  Does anybody have a tute or a pattern I might use??
