Hi rivervoodoo!  I bet I'm not who you're thinking of b/c I don't know anyone in town at all.  Smiley  What was the Pleasant St thing?  Also, where/when are these Northampton SnBs?

I do all sorts of stuff other than knitting, but not much is really portable for a get-together.  Though I could do some embroidery like Sublime Stitching or Subversive Cross Stitch.

Anybody doing anything along these lines? I'm in Amherst, and looking for an excuse to get out of the house more often.

I think my only mobile craft is embroidery (I hate to hand sew anything else), but if people around me are knitting, I could probably be tricked into learning even though I've been telling myself I don't have the time.

Actually, a friend of mine just started running a SnB. It's on UMass campus, but open to anybody.

Thursday nights from 5:30 until whenever (it was 9 last week) in the UMass Student Union in or around the Cape Cod Lounge. It's a small group, and people come and go as they want (to go to evening classes and whatnot).

Everybody (besides me) was knitting last week; I was doing another MegaMan embroidery.

I'll be there (late, around 7:30) this week, and I hope to see you all there too!
