How do you market your products besides on line?
Just wear your own creations all the time and carry business cards etc?

How do you do it on line? Link to everything under the sun?

I want to see how my things do on ebay-can someone mentor me?
(I've never bought/sold anything on ebay before)

And (Maybe I'll cross post this part in the Canadian section) --where would I find a list of ontario craft shows that i could get a foot in the door and test the waters?

one thing that was pretty easy to do was organizing a craft fair at your work. we had one & we only have 30 people in our office, but i sold quite  a bit & got a ton of custom orders. make sure if you do something like this, that you make labels for everything you sell & have business cards for more contact info. word of mouth is a huge factor in this business. also, if you make something relatively cheaply, maybe you could give product to co-workers for birthdays or christmas, complete with further ordering info, of course. Wink

in the meantime, yes, wear your own creations everywhere. EVERYWHERE.

I plan on doing custom photo announcements (birth, adoption, wedding, etc.), so I really can't wear those or put them in stores or anything like that. When the time comes, I am going to contact my OB/GYN and several other OB/GYNs, bridal shops, etc. and ask if I can put brochures/catalogs in their offices.
