I was planning to send it via Priority Mail too...which I believe will take no more than 2 days to reach my swap partner Smiley

So...does anyone have any tips for mailing cookies?  I've never done it before.
I'll prolly send mine priority, though in my experience, sending UPS has always been cheaper and faster for me. I send cookies to various friends/relatives/etc. every year and UPS has always been kind to my boxes of edible love.

I've also used the bread idea. Works every time!

ok, this all sounds good. i have another question, when they ask if its something perishable and all that should i just tell them its cookies or do i have to tell them anything, or does it really matter? I just like to be prepared! thanks!  Cheesy

when they ask if its something perishable and all that

Your postal workers talk to you?

I guess saying "cookies" wouldn't be a problem. Does anyone have experience on this one?

Go ahead and tell them it's cookies. They just stamp it with a "Perishable" stamp and supossedly treat it nicer. Supposedly.

cakelady, it'll be a pleasure for me to do that.  I'm assuming that girlwonder would be okay with this since she has not found you a partner.  girlwonder, If it's not alright, or if you've already found cakelady another partner, that's cool too.  Just let me know Smiley

I said I'd switch from being girlwonder's partner to cakelady's... I didn't hear back though, so I dunno?

I'll do it!  I bake for an army, anyway, so I'll do both!  Hahaha

Actually Sammyb said she would be her partner instead of mine (cause I had two). I was just waiting for cakelady to respond to the PM I sent her. I'd like to do it that way then no one has to make cookies for two people. but that's up to you guys I suppose. I certainly don't mind sending  to two people if you don't loves2expiriment! Grin
