So whats super ironic is I posted one of my other diaper cakes on craftster a few years back, why is this ironic you say well that cake was made for the same sister I made these for only her style has changed drastically granted she is having her first girl
so that may have something to do with it but n e ways Theses are my favorite cakes yet I have made 7 :O lol But these are by far my best after seven I have got this down to a science lol I used only one regular package of size 2 target diapers (my sister's fave) to make all 3 cakes.
Supplies:
- 1 pack size 2 diapers(everyone gets size 1 or NB but mom always waits a month or two before accepting that she has to take it apart eventually and that seems to always be about size 2 time
- 1 roll of tape my fave is the cheapest shiny scotch type tape at Walmart it just holds onto the diapers better
- lots of fab decor ribbons & bows

green ribbon roses trim (hobby lobby $6 a yard eeek I used coupon and got 40% off always print the website coupons)
Ivory tulle ($1.50 for 25feet roll)
paper blooms ($1.60 clearance hobby lobby)
Topper (Michaels its like a blue ribbon they have a huge selection but they are on clearance and moving fast $2 each)
Cake B- on vintage cake stand
brown sheer ribbon (hobby Lobby $2 roll)
sheer gold ribbon (hobby lobby $2 roll)
tiny ruffled velvet ribbon (hobby lobby $2 roll)
flowers (estate sale vintage 40s from a trip to Japan sorry but Hobby lobby has nice ones too)
