You can see the fabric a bit in the patch and lining of this basket I made.  I also used it for the binding of the quilt I put inside!  I wish I had gotten more!
Oh yes!  Lovely bag - my sister would go nuts for that owl print for her little girl.  Smiley

Feb 8 check in

I  haven't made any progress on my February goals.  Hubby and I had headcolds last week and so when I got home from work, i just didn't do much at all and this week has been a bit crazy too.

I have my crafting stuff in the garage on shelves hubby built and in bins, and ikea carts.  It's a disaster right now, I need to spend a day organizing and cleaning it.  I sew at our kitchen table.

I did post my finished T-shirt quilt

Check in for the week

well I have not gotten any sewing done at all. I have been working on a crochet project that I am trying to finish up before the next quilt block swap starts

texscrapper, you have no idea how jelly I am of your craftroom!  That's roughly how I'd like mine to look some day.  Smiley

I finished most of this block on saturday at my guild sew day, and the rest last night. It's a replacement block for a quilt for me from a messed up one I received in a bee I did last year. I still need to make a few more replacements as well.  Roll Eyes

Also, this pattern is from Hunter's Design Studio, so you could possibly win this pattern this quarter!

Lovely block, and the t-shirt quilt looks really snuggly!  Smiley

I had Quilt Club today, missed the last one so it was lovely to see everyone again, and I started quilting the Christmas tree for my Advent calendar hanging.  Mixed feelings on it so far; overall it's coming out ok, but that's despite all the dumb stuff I've done with it along the way and despite the cheap and nasty polyester wadding I'm using for it.  It's using up the very last chunk of that, though, so I don't mind and at least these days I know better!
