The title of my post says it all. Smiley I'm getting a table loom for Christmas; one of the small wooden ones, but it makes fabrics and all that. I'm not sure what it is, or what it looks like, or anything, but I'd really like to know what I'll be able to do with it. It's not tremendously large, so what kind of projects are best made on something like this?

Thanks for the help. Can't wait until Christmas! Smiley

I really should have checked the forumn thoroughly before posting this. That's what I get after not coming here for two months... Sigh.

Please ignore.

You can really do a lot on a small loom. You can weave things like scarves (my personal favorite...even though I don't wear any of them), tea towels, purses, or anything that is narrow and fabric. You can also weave a lot of strips and sew them together like many African textiles. I think you're really only limited by your imagination Grin

Congrats on the soon-to-be-your loom!  Table looms can be really useful.
