Smiley  I think the sweater would warm the beer up!

I just winged it! I cast 32 stitches of some old red heart I got for 50-cents at the thrift store onto size 5 dpns, separated the stitches between 3 needles, did a k2 p2 rib for 3 rows, then just knit for a few, added some scrap eyelash at some point, knit some more, added some fluffy lavendar scrap yarn, knit until it looked like the right length (I held it up to my beer bottle to estimate), did 3 more rows k2p2 rib, then cast off in rib. It's fun, because you could really use pretty much any yarn you wanted and make it stripey or plain or floofy, or whatever. I'm definitely going to make more!

I don't think it will warm the beer, the idea was not having to hold an icey cold bottle! I hate being cold!

Well that is the whole point of a coozy (sp?) So you don't have to hold the beer and no matter what, they help keep beer cooler than it stays on it's own! I love this-I don't have any dpn's, maybe I'll try it on a circular. Nice job!  Wink
