I live in Maryland and right now we are in the middle of the 17 year cicadas return.  They are everywhere!  I made these chocolate versions for a barbeque we went to.  I used a chocolate covered raisin for the head and glued it onto a chocolate covered almond with melted chocolate.  I covered the whole thing in more chocolate and added slivered almond wings and red colored white chocolate eyes...mmmmcrunchy

You Know, I just thought about this. After seeing a picture of a cicada, how about using white chocolate instead of regular.
