Hi!  We are having Thanksgiving at a cabin without a kitchen and will be making the dinner in a combo of campfire, campstove and crockpot.  Any great ideas for the meal?

oh oh oh!  one time, i think we roasted a turkey in a campfire while camping.
i can't seem to find a recipe or directions for this, i believe it requires wrapping the turkey in foil and burying it in the coals.

I found a site that seems to have plenty of camping recipes in general, with some Thanksgiving favorites like "garbage-can turkey". It sounds like an interesting idea.. http://www.scoutorama.com/recipe/index.cfm

I also found a recipe for Thanksgiving in a Dutch Oven. http://www.macscouter.com/Cooking/AdditionalRecipes.html#A34
