Thanks! The cover started to tear off after I stained it so I just stitched it on...I really like the way it turned out.

Absolutely beautiful...as always  Wink

What did you make it out of? Was it like a matchbox or something? I love all of your shrines, and YOU have inspired me to make some! (don't know where to start, though   Roll Eyes)

You guys are always so awesome!

Michael's sells these little paper mache book-shaped boxes...they have them with the other paper mache and decopague stuff (at least in StL they do)... They come with a little gold string to hang them by (I think they really call them ornaments) but I cut them off because I like them standing better. The size is about the same as a matchbox, but I like that they are shaped like a book. And like all my favorite stuff at Michael's, they are $0.99! I bought about a 10 of them, I think...

Aaah, thank you! Unfortunately I'm in England so no Michael's. I will, however, keep my beady eyes open!

I have to confess that I've gone to 2 of 3 Michael's within a reasonable distance of home and wiped them out of the little things...there is one left I'm going to hit this weekend. I don't know if they are seasonable or not and I really like using them!

You know, when faced with the prospect of not being able to get them anymore and the fact that they are less than one dollar...its hard not to horde them!
