These mittens are knit sideways. I have trouble knitting mittens (and socks & some hats) because its complicated and I hate using DPN,s. These look very easy to make and I,ll be trying it this way very soon. If anyone else has made these, or plans to, I would like to see how they turned out. The link has directions for child and adult size mittens.

I've been thinking about trying my first mittens, but I also hate dpns...
I think I'll try the adult version of these when I finish all of my other WIPs.

Thank you, I've been looking for a knit-flat mitten pattern because I, too, hate the dpns. One of these days I need to learn that Magic Loop whatsit.
