Oh, I'm such a sucker for a stuck thread.  I'll send purple hippo some craft supplies (would have gone for the planner, but I used up my supplies on hertrigger in the unconditional swap!).

My list:

1.  Something to carry (e.g., purse, bag, zip pouch, whatever) with an image of Rosie the Riveter or Nancy Drew.  I love them!

2.  A hipslinger.  I'd really love it in a geometic pattern or in something fabulously retro ('70s or earlier style).  Black would also be fantastic, or any solid color.  Or whatever.

3.  A food-shaped purse!  I'm vegetarian, but meat images are fine as long as they're not too juicy/bloody looking (photo of steak=not so appealing; knitted or felt steak=hilarious).   I'm liking the sushi things.  Dessert items are welcome, as well as any kitschy food--like TV dinners or Jell-O salads, which make me laugh.  Any veggies would be great.  I've loved beets my whole life--and it turns out the reason why I never ate them as a kid was because I always got sick from eating them too fast when I was a wee tot, and my parents thought it would be best not too feed them to me.  Too much information, perhaps?

4.  A throw pillow.  Any of the above themes are great.  Or matching the living room or bedroom (living room is olive, red-maroon, and tan.  Bedroom is strangely close to that--dark green & deep red, mostly, but there's a quilt on the bed & I don't need it to "coordinate."

5.  Instructions, tools, & kit for bent-wire jewelry.  I love the look, and I'm sure I could do it if I knew how & had the right stuff.

6.  Something crafted that incorporates retro workout images.  Sounds silly, I know.  I'm not interested in the Tae Bo guy or the dude with the long, Andre Agassi circa 1988 hair who's on infomercials.  But I'd dig something with, oh, maybe the Jane Fonda Workout or Jack LaLanne (but not selling his juicer), or really old pictures of people doing calisthenics.  1920s gymnasts?  Fantastic!  Arnold Schwartzenegger?  No, thank you.  Bodybuilders--no; big hair, leotards, & Reebok high-tops--yeah!  Could be wearable, carryable, look-at-able, whatever.

7.  A tablecloth for my dining room table.  About 60"x80".  I have vintage late-'60s/early-'70s placemats that I love, but they'd be even better with a fabulously retro tablecloth to match.  They're solid colors:  orange, avocado, and yellow--and sort of flower-shaped.

8.  A zipper or drawstring pouch.  Those are always useful and fun.

9.  Something fun & functional made of duct tape.  'Cause why not?  That's fun stuff!  Although I'd prefer something other than a wallet, since I just got a new one.

Some things about me:  I'm not trendy, I'm not girly, and I'm not punk.  I guess my favorite style is a combination of functional, retro, and a little unusual (e.g., I love my purse that looks like a 1960s/70s radio).  I have NO piercings (not even ears).  If a purse doesn't have a strap I can carry over my shoulder, I'll probably lose it.  I prefer things without overtly sexual images, since I'd like to take/wear them to work.  I love bright, deep, and earthy colors--not generally a pastel fan, although pastels have their place--and I have a strange fondness for "ugly" colors and/or combinations.  I'm vegetarian, and I'm not a fan of leather.

That may have made me sound picky, but my style/taste range actually is ridiculously wide.  If you make it, I'm  sure I'll love it!

Sea of Stars, I'm a little intimidated because I've seen the great stuff you make, but I will make you an owl stuffy. I love owls!

Here are my wishes:

I am desperate for Arm warmers/fingerless gloves, any kind (my first winter in Minnesota and I am already freezing!)

A Hat: I love this one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=57584.0

Or a Chicken Viking hat  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21342.0

             Or a Panta http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51351.0

             Or a Hallowig from Knitty (!) http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATThallowig.html

             Or a Pixie Hat http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=25996.0;topicseen

Or a soft black Kittyville hat with earflaps for super cold days either knit or fleece is fine)

Or a baby Yoda hat for my nephew (who isn't quite born yet but I already want to spoil like mad!)

Or one with skulls, stripes or something like that Thanks Orangeabsinthe!!!

                                      -  I have a pretty big head (and cold ears!)

A kimono fabric hobo bag like this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=56519.0 (I am in LOVE with the indigo/orange one!)

Or the necktie schoolbag (I love the burgundy/black/grey/paisley colored one but any colors will work) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45985.0;topicseen

Vintagey/kitschy embroidered or appliqued kitchen towels (fawns, mermaids, pinups, swallows, mexicana, cowgirls, pretty much anything from sublime stitching, my kitchen is green with accents in pink, orange, red, so anything will do!)

Decor items for my bedroom, which is pink and gold; something sexy, maybe 1920's, art nouveau, vintage nude, Japanese cherry blossom, something pretty and glam (I saw a gorgeous Louise Brooks embroidery on craftster http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=59537.0 ) or this Anthropologie frame: http://www.anthropologie.com/jump.jsp?itemID=8543&itemType=PRODUCT&iSubCat=451&iMainCat=381

Some kind of cute embroidery or other wall art for my bathroom, which is kind of a modern take on shabby chic, in light blue and white: a mermaid or nude maybe?

Anthropologie inspired items for bathroom, bedroom, kitchen or accessories!

Porn by numbers

That gorgeous Anthropologie vines scarf I keep seeing

Something Omiyage

Something Day of the Dead or Loteria inspired

A stuffed black squirrel, either in the style of those felt monster/kitty type toys or amigurumi. I never saw a black squirrel till I moved here, but there's one on my street. His name is Jimmy. He refuses to be photographed. It would be extra funny if it was hbig enough to wear a catsized spiked collar, since Jimmy is a bit of a badass (and has recently taken to spelling his name Jimi) (I am way to involved with my local squirrel community!)

a knitted uterus (cause...why not...) (especially one that could contain a heatable bag of seeds & lavender for crampish times)

the infamous lipstick girl cozy http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=39172.0

monster slippers (size 8-9)

A cool microscope slide necklace (I'm learning to make these but haven't got it yet)

Something Bollywood related

A Gromit (knit, felt, anything) (Sean the sheep or Feathers McGraw would be fun too)

A bowl's worth of funny fruit/veggies or eggs (Yay! Thanks Obssessed!) (knit, crochet, felt, as long as it's kitschy)

A vintagey rectangular tablecloth (pm me for dimensions) I love all the  ones on Anthropologie, or a cowgirl print, or anything fun, really. My DR is grey & mocha with red chairs but any colors will work.

this is my 2nd claim!!

I can make you crocheted eggs! and whatever other little bits from your list... Maybe I'll try that hat too....I'll try to find a pattern...library, bookstore, online....

I picked the eggs cuz I'm currently making amigurumi eggs for someone else here on this list, so might as well keep on making them since I have the materials already!!!

Okie dokie!!! omg, I'm getting overwhelmed.. I have to make things for 3 people in all my swaps!! wow Smiley  I guess I need something to do with my time since I work minimal hours at my retail job.

My list coming up in a bit.... might be like an hour... I have a list, but I want to redo it... but I just had to claim the eggs... lol
