OK everyone, post your pics here and share what ya all got from your swappers!
I did get a swap partner at the last minute, so YAY!
I have to give a big super duper THANK YOU! to Jeweled Monkey for the special gift of beaded earrings!! I had made a mistake in the original lineup of swap partners which left me without a partner, and she sent me that special surprise because shes a DOLL!

and from my Swap Partner, Princess_me, I got a TON of goodies. loads of beads, confetti shapes, fimo thingies, containers for the beads (or my unruly glitter obsession.lol) sequins, twisty wire...omg all sorts of things! My kids went nuts when I opened the box, imagining all the wonderful crafty goodness they can have with me. Wink Thank you Dori!!!!!!!

Ok, so this has been the most insane week...I had to unexpectadly leave town on Sunday and I won't be back until Thursday.  This is AWFUL timing because I haven't sent my package yet!!!  I am NOT a flaker though and I have stuff ready to go, I will send it out ASAP!

Secondly...OH MY GOODNESS!  My friend joined me today and brought with her the swap package from Tiph Thompson!  All I can say is I'm glad you sent first so I can attempt to bulk up what I'm sending you.  She went WAY beyond what was needed and not only that, everything she sent is completely awesome.  My friends are seething with jealousy.  I'll post pictures soon, but to give you an idea of what she sent:
- TONS of cool fabric and yarn
- bunches of beads, findings, etc.
- postcards (an AWESOME international collection!), papers, stamps, stickers, clippings of pin-up girls and even a temp. tattoo of a pinup!
- a striped barbie bag full of zippers, ribbons and trims
- a rolmark roller for stencilng (SO cool!)
- sunprints

The list goes on and on.  I can't even begin to list all the cool stuff!!  She even sent me a list of really  tasty sounding vegetarian recipes to try in the dorms (so thoughtful!).  THANK YOU SO MUCH, and I SWEAR you will get your package soon!!!

I haven't heard anything about whether or not a package was sent to me or if mine was received (it was delivered on Monday).  Sad

I received from Jackmo today! The box was so heavy!
She sent great yarns (I love the yellow), tons of beads and ribbon, a huge candle, and lots of other great supplies. I just found it on top of the mailbox this morning, so I haven't been able to spread it all out and look through it yet. Here's a quick photo I took in the car:

Thanks so much! I feel like I definitely need to send you another package!

Alrighty, here's what tiph thompson sent me...are you all ready for this?  You're not, but I'll show you anyway.

Here it is all together in all its majesty!

The "paper products" portion of the loot

the "yarn and jewelry" portion (you can see I already started using some of the yarn)

Ahhh!  Amazing, isn't it?  Thanks again!!

I wanted to add...she attached little orange notes to pretty much EVERYTHING in the box saying what it was and why she sent it...it was so fun to look through everything and find these little notes!  This was seriously the best swap ever.

awww.   Wink  glad you liked it.  I know i went a little overboard, but as i've mentioned to Julie L, I had a credit with the post office that i had to use up so i figured, what the heck, and just packed whatever i could find into a box.  I must say, though, you didn't mention the "cat butt gum" which, come on, so OBVIOUSLY the only thing really worth having in there.   Grin  Anyways, yeah, hope you'll get some use out of it - it created some much needed space (which seems to mysteriously fill up while i'm not looking..hmm..)

leather scraps
tatting thread
beads
buttons
two small wooden boxes
stitch holder
row counter
a cool shell necklace
yarn
a crystal necklace like thing that's going to go on my rearview mirror
small teddy bear
small basket
a teeny tiny plastic baby

I love it!  Thanks so much, Michelle!

I finally finally finally sent my package to tiph thompson.  I'm so sorry it took me so long...I'm usually a very reliable swapper, but there seemed to be all kinds of odds against me this time!  It's winging its way to you up in the Great North and should be there soon...hope it's all ok!

Here's a quick list (I might have forgotten some) of what tofuttibreak sent me:
Yarn!!
navy blue fabric
cream silk fabric
embroidery hoop (I needed one)
gold sequins
some wonderful wierd ribbon
clasps (at least, that's what I think they are. I need to sew more)

I can't wait to sign up for some more swaps, at least before the christmas season.

Flareon, have you received yours yet?  I didn't get a DC#, but I did send priority...  Hope it got there okay!  (And when you get it, would you send me a PM?  I can join the Xmas CD swap by the 18th, as long as you can vouch that you got the package!  Smiley )

okay, so, first picture post ...no problem *eek*

Anyway...here's my amazing LOOT STASH from Juliel85...i love EVERY LAST BIT OF IT.  Seriously, i'm not usually a fan of exclamation marks but this was so much fun to open and go through.  Here's the whole darn package laid out for your viewing pleasure

There's everything there from bubbles and bath fun, to some wonderful fabrics and yarns, beads, papers, buttons, embroidery floss, a fan, some switchplates to decoupage, a little chalkboard, sequins, and this hilarious little "cheese plate" miniature.  My absolute favorite is a couple of antique postcards, and this gorgeous sheet music

Isn't it beautiful???  Anyway, thanks so so much, Julie, I love it. what a GREAT swap altogether.  ~swoon~

I got a package! I am so excited that Cheekymama was able to get me an angel. THANK YOU! This is what a very sweet potatovixen sent me:

http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/42505Craftster_Pack.jpg

There were handmade things, fabric, beads and charms, a couple of books and she even marked one to show me the recipe on how to make candles. It was very nice and it makes me want to swap again (I was a little bitter there for a second).

Oh, and since the person that flaked on me is probably not posting anymore I will list the stuff I sent her: cards, craft paper, fabrics, yarn, stickers galore, sewing supplies, semi-precious stones, beads, earring findings, ribbons, stringing supplies, bag adornments/pendants, a set of markers, and some earrings I made.
